Energy & Environment
minimizing environmental impact
Starting from 2020, we have been evaluating our greenhouse gas emissions through a CO2 balance sheet. We consistently identify areas for reduction and initiate projects across all departments based on these findings.
ClimatePartner GmbH assists us in comprehensive data collection. The 2020 balance sheet included all greenhouse gas emissions from Scope 1, 2, and partially Scope 3. Since 2021, it encompasses the entire Scope 3.
We also focus on the end-of-life phase of our products, considering the raw material supply chain, packaging materials, and both upstream and downstream logistics.
Eco-friendly energy
Starting in 2021, we’ve transitioned to using renewable energy from hydroelectric sources. Furthermore, we’ve equipped our production facilities with photovoltaic installations, supplying power to both our manufacturing processes and electric vehicles. We’re steadily increasing our self-generated energy capacity. In tandem, we’re progressively converting our vehicle fleet to environmentally friendly propulsion systems.

Our commitment to finding the most suitable solutions for our customers while prioritizing sustainability in our production processes presents an ongoing challenge.
From design to development, we prioritize minimizing material usage to the essential. Whenever feasible, we opt for CO2-reduced plastics*, including post-consumer recycled materials and plastics with exceptional recyclability. Our objective is to extend the lifespan of this valuable resource within the circular economy framework for as long as possible.
Supply chain
We partner with established suppliers who have a longstanding presence in the market. Maintaining transparent and enduring relationships with our suppliers is a key priority for us. Upholding ethical, social, and environmental standards across our entire supply chain is paramount. We are actively working on implementing a sustainable procurement strategy, which includes obliging our suppliers to adhere to a relevant code of conduct.

Raw material procurement:
Our raw materials are procured from local suppliers, ensuring shorter transportation distances and fostering long-term relationships for consistent quality and availability.
Logistics
We have some electric trucks in our fleet and minimize empty trips. Our trucks deliver the product to the customer and pick up materials from the supplier on the return journey.
Production
Automation and digitalization enhance our production process, promoting efficiency and sustainability.
Packaging
We minimize environmental impact by utilizing mono-materials in our packaging solutions.
