Business operations at Gaplast continue as normal – the order situation is good
At the beginning of March, hardly anyone could have imagined what challenges the pandemic would present us with – professionally, privately, socially. We are proud of the way in which we and our employees have managed to master the situation so far. As a supplier of packaging materials, Gaplast is currently an indispensable factor for the pharmaceutical industry, among others, and we are in the fortunate position of being able to record a stable order intake. Thanks to the prudent, responsible and loyal behaviour of all the people in our company, we have been able to and can continue to maintain production and regular business operations.
We are convinced that the intensified hygiene and safety measures have contributed to a positive continuation of day-to-day business at Gaplast and would like to thank all employees for their solidarity and support. Nevertheless, we want to be vigilant and have therefore extended the measures at both locations until the end of May.
The development of the pandemic is difficult to predict in the coming summer and autumn months. We have therefore decided to take a special step. We will not be exhibiting at CPHI Milan – the world’s largest pharmaceutical trade fair – this year and have also cancelled our participation in Cosmetic Business Munich. Our customers safety and that of our trade show team is of utmost importance and may not be fully guaranteed.
We are aware of our responsibility to our customers and business partners and will continue to do everything we can to ensure that the economic situation at Gaplast remains stable and develops positively.
